The Levittown Chamber of Commerce was established in 1959 to meet the demands of a growing business community. The original certificate of incorporation was signed on October 14th of that year.
CERTIFICATE OF INCORPORATION
OF
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF LEVITTOWN, N.Y., INC.
PURSUANT TO THE MEMBERSHIP CORPORATION LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK
ARTICLE IV - The office of the corporation shall be located at Levittown, Town of Hempstead, County of Nassau and State of New York.
ARTICLE V - The Board of Directors shall be not less than seven nor more than twenty-five. The government of this Chamber of Commerce shall be vested in its Board of Directors, who shall be nominated and elected in such a manner as may be prescribed in the by-laws.
ARTICLE VI- The names and residences of the Directors until the first annual meeting are:
